Come find out about the fun to be had at VBS 2026...along with the MANY opportunities to serve the Lord with gladness...for everyone...you don't need to be a member at Bethel to serve...for the young and the "old"...there is something for everyone, even if you cannot be present during VBS week.
WHAT IS BETHEL WESTMONT VBS ALL ABOUT?
Bethel's VBS features skits, games, crafts, snacks, group time and music all centered around an exciting theme. We are honored to have usual participation of 120 kiddos with about 70 people on our VBS Team who work hard and demonstrate the love of Jesus during the week.
VBS is open to preschool through 5th grade for campers...see below for kids entering grades 6 & 7 this fall.
We have a LIT (Leaders In Training) Program for kids entering 6 & 7th grade in the fall. Tweens in the LIT Program will participate in our exciting Opening & Closing Sessions as campers, and participate in the Bible Time & snack sessions. The LIT kids will have their own group sessions featuring leadership training, crafts, games and activities and tackle age-appropriate questions related to faith and Jesus with our LIT Program leaders. LIT kids will also have a chance to practice what they are learning during the week by having a Jr. Leader experience during the VBS week.
Teens entering 8th grade can join our VBS Team as a Jr. Leader under the supervision of older teens and an Adult Leader. Bethel's VBS Team consists of high school aged teens, college students and adults from Bethel and the community. Reach out to Maria at bethelwestmontvbs@gmail.com with any questions or to inquire about opportunities to serve.
WHAT IS OFFERED THROUGH BETHEL'S FREE VBS PROGRAM?
Campers get a week of excitement through high-energy Opening & Closing Sessions, fun and engaging skits with well-loved characters, kid friendly and interactive Bible teaching, crafts to make and take home, group games led by our caring and enthusiastic leaders, a themed snack each day, a live band playing well-loved VBS songs, and interaction with Bethel Church members, local teens and adults from the community all working together to provide a Christ-centered experience. In addition, a free lunch is offered each day to our amazing and hard-working VBS Team, their families and our Jr. Leaders.
