We meet Sunday mornings from 9-10am in the Youth Room for HIs & LOs, breakfast treats, prayer requests and Bible study...along with themed games and activities.  See dates below.

For the 2025-26 school year, our theme is  got Jesus? and we will be learning together from the gospel of John in the Bible.  We will study the person of Jesus and learn about his character and life, and teens will learn a simple Bible study method to help them dive deeper into the Bible.  No Bible experience necessary!  Our Memory Verse is John 1:1-18.

*April 22 we will have evening Youth Group, but if you're up early, come make Resurrection Rolls with the younger kiddos.  We'll walk to Brewed Awakenings while the rolls are baking in the oven...bring your own $5-$10 for a beverage.

We will meet on the FIRST SUNDAY of the MONTH* from 6:00-7:30pm in the West Basement.  DESSERT will be served and teens will have a time of Christian fellowship together doing different activities - listed below.

Ms. Maria and Sam will bring lots of games, but feel free to bring in your favorite card or board game to play with the group if you'd like.  The ping pong table will be moved to the West Basement for a couple rounds of Ping Pong Around the World.  Dessert provided.

PAINT N SIP NIGHT with Ms Maria and Delanie Graziano...

Decorate your own glass vase with instruction given by Delanie.  Ms Maria will begin the evening with a short devotion on the Trinity and the triquetra symbol while we enjoy hot tea and sweet breads.  Then, Delanie will begin instruction to paint a beautiful glass vase with the Triquetra symbol and accompanying flowers.  Each person will also receive an event take-home gift of a bottle of Green River (plus a mini Bailey's Irish Creme for the adults.)

July 19-23, 2025 NYG in New Orleans

June 9-13, 2025 VBS: True North

NYG 2028 will be held in San Antonio, TX from July 3-7.   13 teens and 4 chaperones attended NYG 2025 in New Orleans, LA in July.  Ask any of them about this amazing trip!

BYG teens participate in band, cheerleading, jazz band, soccer, dance, golf, tennis, flag football, volleyball, softball, choir, cross country, basketball, football and track.  Did I miss anything?!

BYG teens are musical and play bass guitar, electric guitar, trumpet, percussion, drum set, saxophone and sing in choir.

Last school year, the NYG memorized HEBREWS 12:1-3...ask one of them to tell you their favorite part.

This year, we are memorizing John 1:1-5, 9-14.   

3 of our teens are active in Boy Scouts and two of them have attained Eagle Scout...

Our teens attend Westmont High School, Downers Grove South High School, Walther Lutheran, Hinsdale Central and Lisle High School.

Our teens have amazing pets including Millie, Samson, Lily & Kenzie...and others that we need to know their names!!

Some recent alumni of BYG include: Anna, Lauren, Megan and Nathan.  🩶We miss you!
