We meet Sunday mornings from 9-10am in the Youth Room for HIs & LOs, breakfast treats, prayer requests and Bible study...along with themed games and activities.  See dates below.

For the 2025-26 school year, our theme is  got Jesus? and we will be learning together from the gospel of John in the Bible.  We will study the person of Jesus and learn about his character and life, and teens will learn a simple Bible study method to help them dive deeper into the Bible.  No Bible experience necessary!  Our Memory Verse is John 1:1-18.

We will meet on the FIRST SUNDAY of the MONTH* from 6:00-7:30pm in the West Basement.  DESSERT will be served and teens will have a time of Christian fellowship together doing different activities - listed below.  

Sunday, February 1 CHILI LUNCH & BINGO at 11:45am         EVENING YOUTH GROUP CANCELLED TONIGHT

Bethel is hosting a Chili 🍲 Lunch & BINGO right after church on Sunday, Feb 1st.  This event will replace Youth Group so please come for church, lunch and BINGO with your Bethel family.  The whole family is invited.  No morning Sunday School as originally planned.  Sleep in and come for church and lunch :)

Sam will set-up our Nintendo Switch system...we'll play JackBox & NS Sports for starters... and we'll also have some cross-stitch kits available if you'd prefer doing that...dessert provided :)

Sunday, May 3   GAME NIGHT 

Ms Maria and Sam will bring lots of fun games, but feel free to bring in your favorite card or board game to play with the group if you'd like.  We'll even have the ping pong table in the West Basement for a couple rounds of Ping Pong Around the World.  Dessert provided.  

Friday, January 16 FEED MY STARVING CHILDREN OUTING

Friday, February 6 REND COLLECTIVE CONCERT   

General admission tickets are still available for purchase for $32.65 at  TicketWeb.  A group from Bethel will carpool at 5:00pm from the parking lot for the 7pm concert at Willow Creek Church in Crystal Lake, IL.  Let Ms Maria know if you purchase a ticket and would like to join our group :)

Feed My Starving Children Outing  Join your Bethel family and our teen group for a packing session at the Aurora location from 7:15-8:45pm.  Register HERE by Sunday, Jan 11th!!  We will also be meeting for dinner AHEAD of our session at the Portillo's in Naperville (1992 West Jefferson.)  Optional.  Dutch.  Hope to see you there :)

June 9-13, 2025 VBS: True North

NYG 2028 will be held in San Antonio, TX from July 3-7

BYG teens participate in band, cheerleading, jazz band, soccer, dance, golf, tennis, flag football, volleyball, softball, choir, cross country, basketball, football and track.  Did I miss anything?!

BYG teens are musical and play bass guitar, electric guitar, trumpet, percussion, drum set, saxophone and sing in choir.

13 teens and 4 chaperones attended NYG 2025 in New Orleans, LA in July.  Ask any of them about this amazing trip!

Last school year, the NYG memorized HEBREWS 12:1-3...ask one of them to tell you their favorite part.

This year, we are memorizing John 1:1-5, 9-14.   

3 of our teens are active in Boy Scouts and two of them have attained Eagle Scout...

Our teens attend Westmont High School, Downers Grove South High School, Walther Lutheran, Hinsdale Central and Lisle High School.

Our teens have amazing pets including Millie, Samson, Lily & Kenzie...and others that we need to know their names!!

Some recent alumni of BYG include: Anna, Lauren, Megan and Nathan.  🩶We miss you!
